Teaching Music History Conference 2025

The 2025 THMC will take place at New York University, in New York, NY between 20-22 June 2025. The conference will include a special workshop presented in conjunction with the AMS Many Musics of America project of which will explore methods for teaching Asian American music history in the K-12 classroom. The Pedagogy Study Group seeks proposals for a multi-format session at the next AMS-SMT Joint Annual Meeting 6–9 November 2025 in Minneapolis. We invite proposals in all areas of pedagogy. Please refer to the Call for Papers; submissions were due by 11:59 PM EST on Friday, 7 March 2025.
